Officially set up in 2004, Emalto Agribusiness aims to promote the region’s forestation and reforestation , including  commercialization of wood, livestock, pig breeding and agriculture in general. For that purpose the Company counts on more than 200 hectares. Over 140 hectares were meant for reforestation only.

The objective of the new economic activity of Emalto Group is to keep up with the pace imposed by the globalized economy through investments is differentiated sectors in order to gain market share and establishing itself as an important generator of products, services and jobs.

Laurindo Grandpa Farm

Emalto’s engagement in quality of living and social welfare exceeds legal requirements.  That is why Emalto Group has created a Preservation Area - APA – Laurindo Grandpa Farm, with the purpose of creating an environmental education program that aims at contributing to and guiding environmentally friendly behaviors.

The Farm also accounts for supplying the company restaurant, where over 300 people eat every day, with eggs, dairy, pork, legumes and fruit.
